The shuttle has VCR-style controls for playing and recording animation. The shuttle controls are in the recording Deck under the Tools panel.
The Record button records the current skeleton into the current trueSpace frame. Do not confuse the current frame with selected frames, see Dope Sheet for more information.

If you enter a frame-rate value (in fps, or frames-per-second), or select a frame-rate from the drop-down menu, the shuttle will keep the animation from playing back faster than the selected speed.
If you enable the Frame Skip option, the shuttle will drop frames during playback to try to reach the selected speed. Be careful with the Frame Skip option: if the requested speed is faster than trueSpace is capable of displaying, the animation will be choppy or will not be visible at all.
A frame-rate value of 0 tells the shuttle to play every animation frame as fast as possible.
